Art trade: Matt and Dr. Jekyll!

by Matt

Hey folks! I completed my first art trade on Comic Fury this week and I thought I'd show you the results. MK_Wizard, author of MK's The Strange Case of Dr. Jekyll & Mr. Hyde, started that funny event. I thought it was a good idea to draw each other's protagonists. So here we go:

I drew her version of Dr. Jekyll trying to discover the Hyde formula. He was really fun to draw. Love the hairstyle and cartoony face.

And I told her Matt was up to her interpretation. Guess what? She drew an awesome rock and roll version!

This is so funny. This totally looks like his 2016/2017 design, just with rock and roll elements and cooler pants. It feels like I'm looking into one of these mirrors where you can see alternate universes, and this Matt became a rock star instead of a comics author.

So yeah, a great art trade. Thanks again!

What to expect for 2018

by Matt

Wow, has it already been one month since I last posted a blog entry? There's no way I can keep being so lazy. Next year, I'll try to actually use this blog thing. Hey, since we're speaking of next year, here's what you should expect, Redac-wise...

- More pages! (obviously)
- More interesting blog entries! (hopefully)
- Subtle layout changes! There are a lot of minor things I'm not quite satisfied with. I just hope I won't accidentally destroy the site. I'd better mess around with a test comic first.
- A spoiler-free cast page, whenever I finish posting all the 2009 stuff.

Happy New Year!

And as always, thanks for reading/subscribing/lurking!

The Redac Files

Let's start this thing...

by Matt

It's the last day of November, who cares... Except that it's already been one month (and counting) since I started showing my silly childhood drawings. Time sure flies! Thanks to everyone who subscribed, subtly kept an eye on or even just looked at this comic, btw.

So why not start my blog about Redac stuff. In this place, you'll find wacky supplementary material, like:

* drawings and doodles that I don't want to put in the comic archive because, well, said archive is supposed to be mostly about comics

* various behind-the-scenes stuff

* and crossover/exchange/whatever projects, if that also ever happens in the future.

Have fun!
